Black, front end respray, ceramic coating
I wanted a black 911, so have no one else to blame for how difficult it is to keep clean, and avoid swirl marks. Tossing around idea of a front end respray, followed by wrap or ceramic coating or both. What I’m looking for mainly is protection against chips, swirl marks, and greater ease of washing and cleanup. Live in Corpus Christi, Texas. San Antonio is about 2 hours away.

The only thing that's going to help against stone chips is film.
The coating helps you against the swirl marks, and makes washing much-much easier.
The less you touch it, the better, too. So, consider a drying method like the MasterBlaster from Detailer's Domain. Make sure you have very good car washing technique and products.

Black is a full time job. Was always my favorite. Went to therapy, and they suggested stay away from it in the future Too much stress

My paint shop double bakes their paint jobs. By double baking you can wrap right after bake time. They do only high end cars and no issues. Added Aerokit to a prévios car and wrapped right after painting. Car looked awesome.

I’m not commenting specifically on yours; but the cure time is so the wrap looks good when it goes on AND so the the paint looks good one day when the wrap comes OFF. It’s not remarkable for it to look fine going on, even after a Maco job without curing.... now coming off? I’d not want to find out!

Is your front end THAT bad that you need a respray? Paint Correction works wonders....

Three Wheelin'
Just had mine repainted and baked. Everyone that installs the film, all recommended a minimum of 30 days even with baking. At $350 to respray, I left it alone. Cheaper to paint 3 times than film.
