Nice internet story but we’ll need pics of you and hubby next to car as verification.

Sorry but the author I visualize right now is some bearded fat guy without a shirt on in front of a PC...laughing.

How hard did you consider keeping the car for yourself and using it as a dude-magnet?

I've been meaning to post for sometime now. I'm the husband behind this entire post. It was a pleasure sitting back and reading her postings and the comments. My wife out did herself again! She truly is the most amazing women that I've ever loved and known. She is my best friend!

Getting up in age and not in the 20s has had me thinking about life and the things I sure missed from the teenage to young adult age. I owned a gorgeous 930 original factory slope in 1987, guards red and tan leather and twin turbo. It was an amazing time. How lucky I am to have the honor of now owning a 911s. She did it right. Because I love the luxor beige and black. I can honestly tell you that I've been more excited about the 911s than I was about the 930. I guess age has something to do with it. Just knowing I own a Porsche again has made me feel like a new man and a little younger. I can't express how happy I am in words or posting in this forum group. I appreciate the forum members that helped her. Good advice and she made a dream come true for this kid at heart that thought of driving a Porsche again was just a pipe dream.

I love this 911s and everything about it. I do have a few questions. Where is the best place to ask questions about oil changes and general maintenance questions on this forum?

Since your car is a CPO you need to at least follow guidelines for oil changes, brake flushes, etc. You can opt for dealer work or Indy shop. Keep all receipts, have them stamp book. Dealer for warranty work and they can check for software or other updates. There are a variety of Porsche approved oils. Many have different preferences.
Enjoy your car. Since you are in SoCal you won't have to winterize the 911.

Well not here, this is the “technical forum” so it’s more for arguing about wood interiors, turbo 3.0s VS NA, Manual VS PDK, etc.

Just because we need to be precise, I'll point out that unless you added a second turbo to your 930, it was a single KKK K24 (iirc) hung off that 930/60 engine.

Lovely 991 you have now! Enjoy.

THIS was the best advice of all. WOW is she amazing! I have a 2018 Macan S, and I absolutely love it, but it does not compare to the feeling of being behind the wheel of the 911S. I got out of the seat saying, "Damn!"

I asked him if he wanted to trade... LOL!
