Good for you for having a great man. Good for him for having a great wife. Good for both for now having a Porsche 911.

Enjoy.

Congrats to him and kudos to you. I can actually imagine how he feels as my wife surprised me a few years ago with a brand new Lexus 460 F Sport ... I loved the car and loved her for the surprise ... the car is no longer part of the family but I hope she will stick around forever !!

Great surprise and great story. I'm sure he deserves it based on how you spoke of him. He has to be over the moon. Nice job.

Great story. The 911 is a great car and it is a wonderful gift to anyone, man or woman, who appreciates these fine cars. The listed car is very nice. Beige interiors are not to everyone's liking but I guess it is too late now. Better to have run it past your husband just to see if he likes the interior.

Thanks! His 930 factory slope nose had beige interior. He would have liked black also, but I'm pretty sure he likes the luxor more. While the glare may be a bit excessive as compared to black interior, he owns a pair of polarized sunglasses which I've heard cut down on the glare, and this is simply a new toy for him rather than a 24/7 ride in which extra glare may be really bothersome.

Oh that was very nice of your wife too! Lucky man! My husband is very difficult to buy gifts for, so I've finally found something that gave him the cheesy grin... LOL!

Best advice here. Congrats on the new car. My wife bought me a 2011S for my 50th birthday 3.5 years ago. I still loved it. She loves driving it. Get some seat time if you can.

Join your local Porsche club. They have many activities for your husband or you as a couple can enjoy. Driving tours, etc
Enjoy.
Rennsport at Laguna Seca end of sept for 4 Days will be special. All things Porsche. :-)

Wow! CD your man is surely one in a million. And, I can attest to that, because I know all about the other 999,999.

I just showed this thread to my wife, got out of bed, and told her that I was never going to brag about how wonderful she is anymore. She laughed and said "Sorry babe, you just don't deserve one".

Once again she's right.
