GTS Wheel Repair
In the process of purchasing a GTS and one of the wheels has some curb rash on it. The dealer says they can get it fixed, it's not a Porsche dealer but they do deal with a lot of exotics. I have never fixed any wheels before, worried about this one since its black. Would fixing it cause any problems? is it better to just leave it alone?

If you trust the dealer, let them fix it. You won't even be able to tell where the damage was when it's done. If I did that myself, I'd probably just hit it with a permanent magic marker as needed.

Get it fixed. You won't see it when fixed properly. Much better than leaving it alone and seeing curb rash. That would drive me nuts.

Lols, Did exactly that on my black GTS wheels for a few months before getting them all repainted GT Silver. The marker worked great unless you had your head down looking closely at it.

I'd be more concerned about the rain.

I had my black GTS Centerlocks repaired of curb rash for about less than 200 bucks if I recall. They did an excellent job - I cant even tell it ever happened. Actually kinda magical.

Any luck
Just did a minor scuff to my passenger rear wheel. Not sure if the 991.1 black wheels are the same as the 991.2. Seems like the dealer should know what paint is needed? In So Florida I think the Collection sends the repairs to a vendor but I would think they could help get the right paint. Unfortunately mine are ceramic coated too and the center locks makes that a challenge for the vendor to redo because of the special wrench needed to take on and off. Thoughts appreciated.
