GT3 RS door pull retrofit
I have seen a 991 carrera base with this retrofit done, so I know it is possible. I can't seem to find any information on it though. Has anyone here done it, or know how difficult it is to do?

I wanted to do this, but was told it could not be done. Would love to do it too if it is possible

Idea how difficult or expensive...

You can't order all the parts needed separately so you have to either hunt it down or replace the entire door card anyway. As to the work involved, you have to carefully drill out the plastic welds on the mechanisms where not screwed in and you can use screws and washers to reattach.

I let a valet park my GT4 a couple months ago; he put it right in front of the restaurant. I was waiting up front for our table and glanced back outside a couple minutes later; the valet was still in the car and was just rolling the window down. Wondering why, I started outside to see if something was wrong. He'd been trapped inside and finally figured out to roll down the window, reach outside and unlatch the door with the outside handle.
They're stupid and hard to work, but they do look cool.

No extensive modification required, can be reverted back to stock with no signs these were installed.
Not plug and play, the GT3RS use different door panels.
Ordered OEM GT3RS door strap assemblies, custom red straps because at the time, maybe still now? you could not order red straps, and some finesse.
I did not take any pictures of the install. If I remember correctly, it was nearly $1k in parts to do this.

BTW, was that 1K in parts for one door or both doors?

If you could, we would appreciate a list of part numbers you used. Thank you
