two booster car seats in a 991 4S conv?
Wife needs a new car and wants another convertible. Needs to be manual so that leaves me only a few options. (911 being one of them) Only issue is back seat needs to accommodate 2 booster seats for my boys.
They recarro booster seats. Anyone have a similar situation or know if they would fit?
considering a 991 4S if we can make them fit.

FYI, my wife is 5'11" and easily fits in the front with my son in a booster behind her. The Porsche boosters are pretty low profile and fit just fine. Not a *ton* of legroom in the back but my son never complains - being the Porsche trumps legroom for him. I'm sure when my daughter is old enough for a booster, she'll be fine in the back too.

thanks guys.. I suppose the only true way to find out is to stop by my local dealership.
Does the Porsche booster seat work ? Any photos I see always show it in the front passenger seat.

911's can be great family cars! I have two boys (both in the 50th percentile for height and like 10th percentile for weight) ages 7 and 4.
We use Maxi Cosi Rodi Fix boosters in our 911 C4S Cabrio. They fit great and the kids are comfortable. The Rodi Fix boosters have LATCH anchors to securely hold them in place and a relatively small base which lets them as sit far back as possible into the rear seats so the kids have more space. I'm 5'7" and my wife is 5 ft tall (or so she claims) so they have plenty of leg room, too.
Rodi Fix
When my 7 year old gets a little bigger, I'll switch him over to a Cosco Top Side backless booster, which fits in the car perfectly.

I just picked up two Cosco boosters this weekend. Works perfect for my 7 and 4 year old. I'm 5'11" and my wife is 5'9" and everyone had plenty of leg room.

I have one booster installed behind the passenger seat. My wife is 5'11" and she's comfortable in the passenger seat with the kid behind her. I'm 5'11" too and when it's time for a second booster behind me, I'll be fine too. I have the Porsche branded booster (which looks to me identical to the Cosco one).
I am reasonably sure there is no rear tether strap, but you don't need that for a booster anyhow. And you can't get a rear facing child seat in the back unless you are really really really short or really really really uncomfortable.

Boosters go in 991. My son and I are in mine every day. The rodifix is the way to go.
Your bigger issue, I think, is the slightly forward cant of the rear seats in the cab. Space is valuable back there and the very only thing worse than a nearly vertical rear back rest is one slightly bending you fwd.
In other news you have a wife that wants a manual convertible. Nice job!
