New Winter Boots 19" Narrow Body
Us narrow body guys know how limited it comes to 19" wheel options for winter.
AND even tougher if you have a 991.2 because on the Narrow Body 991.2 the track seems a tad wider than on 991.1 and factory rear is already very flush with the fender. Looks like a 991.1 with a 15mm spacer.
AND even tougher if you live in Canada
The Porsche OEM winter set is over 6G tax in and by the time you get tire racks Starke BC set up shipped here with taxes and duty your looking at $3600USD...or about 4600CDN for what is supposed to be a cheap cast wheel option.
The great guys at SimplyTire here in Toronto worked out this package with me.
MRR FS06 Flow Form wheels. They are custom and the 10" rear comes in high enough offsets to make it work with a narrow body.
I went with 8.5"ET48 up front and 10"ET55 in the back...pretty much equivalent to the stock offsets give or take a mm or two.
Pirelli Sottozero in 245/40/19 and 285/35/19
Cost was very similar to what the cast Starke wheels would have cost by the time you add shipping and duty to Canada.
This is the result...and I'm very happy. For a reasonably priced, quality 19" winter wheel I think they look great.

Wow those look great. Like they could come from the factory that way.
I just put my 19's on for the winter today as well. They're reps that I bought a couple months ago. I have black rims for the summer so it changes up the colour a bit.
