Value of blown engines/where to buy
Like many of you out there, I have great interest and curiosity about the internal parts of a Flat 6. Especially after replacing the IMS in my 996.
With retirement looming and time for new projects, I would love to find an inexpensive learning project, call it DE :-) ie. a blown flat 6 that I could wrench on/take apart just for the hell of it, with no intention to make it run again.
What is the market for de minimus value flat 6's out there, and where could I source one?
(I suppose I should be cross-posting this everywhere.)

For M96/M97 engines with IMS and D-chunk problems, I imagine there are engines free for the taking. Pay for pallet and shipping and cover whatever the scrap guy gives them, and it's yours.
