2018 4 GTS Targa
Would appreciate any thoughts. Looking at a 2018 4 GTS Targa with 38K miles on it. That has the below issues. I am trying to get a ballpark of what the car is worth. The carfax does not show any accidents. It is at a Porsche dealership. They bought the car at an auction (unseen) and overpaid for it. They say they will not CPO it due to the brakes needing replacing. I am trying to determine a reasonable offer that will allow me to fix the existing issues and provide cushion for any issues that are unseen/unknown. Would like to get a ballpark value to offer and if they are agreeable to moving forward will get an independent inspection. Just don't want to waste time/money if their expectation is more than what I
am comfortable with.... I have a number in mind but would appreciate feedback to see if I am in line with others. thanks
The front end has minor scratches in the paint but nothing that couldn't be buffed out.
The retractable rear spoiler is loose on the left side.
Needs new brakes
Trim in the front is worn and ripped- see picture
Missing window button- see picture
Rear bumper has damage - see picture

That looks like a very well neglected Targa. Hard to put a value on it, but the fact that the dealer won’t CPO it speaks volumes. Proceed with extreme caution.
Full disclosure: My 2018 Targa is a garage princess and I’m thinking about selling it. PM sent.

Why would you ever want a car that was treated like crap?

Not CPO-ing due to brakes is a smokescreen. There’s a lot more to it than that and they don’t want to disclose. Car looks pretty shabby.

CPO include new brakes in a lot of cases, that’s total BS. Mostly rear rotors but that’s a really bad excuse. That car is poop.
