PEC Atlanta sent me a pic of this car when I wanted to spec GT Silver. Also you cannot spec wheels painted "silver" on the GTS. It has to be body color paint.

My gosh, GT silver CLs do look great on SB! I too am dead set on GT silver for the car.

No, that is incorrect....I debated “silver” vs “GT Silver to match exterior” for quite a while before going with Sapphire Blue/black.

I saw that when I ordered my GTS. I love the satin black, but they get so dirty, so quick, they become a bit of a pain. I was considering ordering platinum satin to at least mitigate the problem some, but saw that wasn't possible.

Is this a change? I know for a fact that this option was not available on GTS CL wheels when I ordered mine. You could order 5-lugs with “regular” silver painted wheels but not CLs. This is per PEC Atlanta. This must be recent change. CL wheels previously had to be black or painted body color.

J Ferraro- I just went configurator and as I suspected you cannot spec CLs painted silver. It forces you to the 5-lug option. PEC Atlanta can confirm what I’m saying.

No worries Mike, I was just pointing out that GTS has the Silver option.....I’ve been on the configuration since June, so it’s not too new of a change.

I guess our wires crossed at CL vs 5L.....but that screen cap is just from tonight, although the box isn’t checked.

One of the reasons I ordered PCCBs - I imagine that the black satin would show a lot of dirt/dust...

Those silver CL's look awesome, though! I would prefer silver...

So re. my original question about that pic.....since they’re CL, are they “regular”, GT, or a “custom” color of silver on a SBM car?

Just came off the transporter this afternoon. Hope to get delivery Friday or Saturday. BTW, those tires are Michelins.

you could pm torque chap. He’s a regular poster but I’m convinced they are cxx GT silver since it’s his car in the pics that PEC Atlanta sent me when I was inquiring about cxx GT silver painted wheels.

Got it. Thanks. Yes we got our wires crossed on 5-lug vs CLs. Sorry if I caused confusion in thread.
