Creaking noise 991.2 Targa
Top-down = no creak
Top-up with windows down = no creak
Top-up with windows up = creak when car flexes (such as backing out of driveway or speed bump)
Used Gummi Pflege Stift on the rubber seals, no real change.
Maybe that is just a Targa trait. Anyone else experienced this?

Guys maybe mine doesn’t have enough miles on it, but so far mine is quite except for a rattle in the passenger side portion of the bar that moves when the top goes up and down, but I only have about 1,000 miles on it.

No creaks after 7000 miles I've noticed. I do pull straight over the curb at the end of my driveway so I don't have one wheel higher/lower than the other three. A few times in my 997 cab, if I went straight over with front wheels then turned so one back wheel at a time goes over the curb, the front window went down like I was opening the door and went back up once the last wheel was over the curb.

Three Wheelin'
My .1 is pretty squeak/rattle free as well.

I loved the aesthetics of my 991.1 Targa4S but just never bonded with the car or driving experience. The creeks from the rear were pretty significant. Ive had several 991's including cabs and a coupe and just recently traded the targa for a 991.2 C2S cab. The cabs are way quieter IMO with the top up in comparison to the creeks of the targa. Also the wind buffeting in the targa with the top down was way worse. Absolutely gorgeous cars though.

So with Targas, would you say that roof creaks are generally part of the cars in general? Do they generally get a lot worse as the car ages?
I really like the Targa look and considering one for a future purchase. But I've experienced a Ferrari California in the past and that car really had a lot of issues not just the roof.
I was thinking Porsche quality is much better overall so I'm curious.
