X51 Power Kit wow

Threw on the Wow kit on my 2017 C2S and finally made it through the 310miles<5000rpm restriction. Wasn't expecting a lot, more a prep for the Cobb tune. Luckily, I didn't have the kit and tune done together, cause my turbo's are only putting out 12psi. and there could have been some finger pointing. Back to the dealer today!

Interesting. I'm ordering the X51 Power Kit for my new S and will have my dealer install it. Will have to compare boost before and after. I like to use Sport+ mode and shift manually Will the Sport button make any difference in my peak boost after the Turbos are already spooled up? I don't have enough seat time in mine to know yet.

My dealer pulled the codes, and I have a "turbo degradation". They have to pull the bumper again to access it, so I'm holding them up for now until my Akra slip-on shows up and do both at once.
I got my S CPO with 1,900 miles on it, it pulled to 16psi in any mode, just quicker in Sport+ or Response button with the turbo's pre-spooled

Thanks for the info. I did order my X51 Power Kit today, after Suncoast said their sale ends Monday. I knew it was going to end sometime but was procrastinating. Suncoast 's post was all that was needed to light a fire under me. My kit should be in next week. That's exciting! Better than the magazine test times for the 991.2 Carrera S PDK of 3.1 sec 0-60 and 11.4 second 1/4 mile isn't going to be shabby!

Also, anyone know what is involved in installing the kit? Is this something Indy shop can do or it must be dealer only? Do they remove the rear bumper or have to completely disassemble things?

Or I got the "base" flash to 12psi. The car in it's previous life jumped to and pegged 16. 3rd gear pulls from 5000rpm to 7000rpm, sports+

I'm having my dealer do the installation because I want an unquestioned factory warranty, and to retain the ability for a future CPO if needed for maximum future trade-in value or for maximum future resale value.

presumably, you meant: how much do they charge for labor? I'm not sure because my local Service Manager is matching the best prices I could find in his total install package price to me. For labor, I did have verbal quotes from Sunset for $2000 and Suncoast for $1850. So I'm presuming he quoted me $1850, but it's not itemized in his X51 package quote. He does what he needs to internally apportion his parts vs labor costs. IMO, it seems Service is its own profit center, including labor and parts at this dealership. It seems they can do what they need to get the service work or the parts volume wanted, without showing the price breakdown. They are undergoing a major expansion in the size of the sales and service facilities and hiring additional people.

Since Porsche is putting the model name on doors now, unless deleted, I thought about what I might like on the doors. POWERKIT seemed too long and pretentious - not what you want a cop to see if he stops you. Below is what I came up with for my C2S with PowerKit. Only cost me $25 for a set of 3 decals And sure enough, I screwed one up when putting it on. I'll see how I like them and remove them if I change my mind.
