Your Top 5 Must Have Options
#78
1) PDK
2) Non-black Full Leather Interior
3) Dark Blue or black exterior
4) Bose
5) PSE
6) 20" Sport Technos, Turbo Design, or Carrera Classic rims
7) Sport chrono
These were the things I was looking for when searching for mine. I found one without #5 and #6. Hopefully I'll take care of the 20" rims once I find a widebody set at a reasonable price. Pretty happy with the car overall.

For me, the must haves for a .1 2S or 4S coupe were:
1. PDK
2. Sport Chrono
3. Ventilated Seats
4. PSE
Bonus options:
5. Full leather
6. 18 way seats
7. Sport design steering wheel
8. CPO
9. Agate Gray
I was able to find an amazing car that had everything but 5 and 7, but was able to add 7 within a few days of owning the car. 8 out of 9 boxes checked isn't bad- I am absolutely thrilled!

PDK
Ventilated Seats
PSE
NA Engine
MF Steering
Manuals are fun, drove them for 20 years, got bored, traffic got bad and so i switched to Auto's. Nothing wrong with either, best to have 1 of each if possible

Burning Brakes
1 & 2. PDK & Dynamic cruise control (both because I drive lots of highway miles with my cars)
3. Sapphire Blue Metallic
4. Unique interior - Blue and chalk leather, deviated leather seat centers, white gauges and colored belts
5. Standard exhaust - I already have a very loud car.

For my 2014 Carrera 4
1. PDK
2. AWD
3. Any color but black, I live in CA.
4. Lux package (keyless, hot and cold seats) for my wife
Everything else was gravy. That being said the Porsche crest on the headrests is an option I really like, and who knew I liked white cars!

I ordered just a few options for my .2 base. My rating and comments:
MT: good, feels so natural both on backroads and in traffic.
PSE: fair, my GT3 did not artificially backfire, I would prefer no backfire.
4-way sport seats plus: good, very comfortable.
20" RS wheels: good, latest Michelin and Pirelli tires are not available in 19" sizes, wheels coated for ease of cleaning
Bose: poor, harsh treble, lacks clarity, a tweeter upgrade at least is required.
No sunroof: good, I find the small opening not very useful.
I don't feel I'm missing anything important.

I wanted my first Porsche to be pretty basic, as I wanted to understand the essence of what makes a Porsche 911 special. Besides, I am very familiar with high torque/high power cars and I don't have to have that in every car. After spending a year in Phoenix, I wanted to "environment harden" my car as well.
So my search criteria was:
-Base or S
-White paint
-Easy-to-clean wheels (Carrera S or Sport Technos)
-Sport Design body package, preferably factory optioned
-Minimize the number of "complicating" options, such as those with extra motors, extra controls, etc. This meant the 4-way seats, no SC (dynamic engine mounts), no mechanical wing, no active suspension, no active headlights, no keyless entry/drive, etc.

Three Wheelin'
1. Personalized door-sill guard
2. Lower front facia painted
3. Light design package
4. Smoking package
5. Fuse box cover in leather
#5 is the most crucial. Can't imagine owning any car with the fuse box cover in anything but leather.
