Acid Green 2017 911 C4S PTS is it rare?
 

Hi all. I am a first time Porsche owner and bought a 2017 911 C4S in a paint to sample color called "Acid Green." I bought it a local dealership that had a manager who ordered it a while ago in this color that has been described as "1 of 1" by the Porsche dealership who sold me the car. He searched PTS in 2017 911 and couldn't find any other acid green. Lots of Miami, Mexico and other blues blues. I wanted something unique and not the everyday white, silver or black.

I love the color myself although I know it doesn't appeal to everyone. I was just wondering has anyone else seen this color at any dealerships in a 911 C4S? I have seen it on a GT3 and 918 Spyder online but can't find any like mine. Any input from anyone who would know or have seen this color would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading. I love it and am having so much fun driving it and getting tons of looks. It's very loud color. I live in the desert and it looks great outside.

I like it a lot, very nice, enjoy. No idea about the rarity factor, I have never seen another.

To me its so ugly that I can't stop looking and start to like it... Looks like a highlighter haha.

Yes, it is very bright. I'm sure it'll look great in the desert next to reddish-brown rock formations.

I like Viper Green; don't know if I could do this color. It looks a lot like birch though.

funny that I really don't like this color on the calipers of the hybrids ..... but I kinda actually like it on this car .... congrats on the find ... I think you probably got your unique vehicle :)

I would think Acid is very rare however it is close to Birch (sp?) and a few more have done that color but none the less still a rare bird.

All PTS cars are rare. Less than 3% of Porsche production. This color is even more rare, yet. Needs clear corner lights. Enjoy!!

Hers's a Cayenne GTS in Peridot Metallic, looks similar colour.

I actually really like it. Congrats! Super rare color. I think some dark blue calipers would looks excellent with the color.

Buying a 911 is a bold statement. Why not go with a bold color?

As a previous owner of an Acid Green Alfa Spider I wholeheartedly approve.

At the time the dealer told me it was the one and only he ever sold in that color - I don't think it was an option for too long.

If you have the b@lls and don't care about the hit on resale then you should love being different - I did :rockon:
