Good point regarding mechanical watches. I also dislike using cases and I hate sticking stuff to my phone. So the Rennline is completely out for me. If I could combine the clamp of the T-Design with the more secure mount of the Rennline – that would be pretty nice.

991 has built-in phone mount.... hiding in plain sight.

Default Side storage pocket

I store my phone in the side pocket; with an insert made to hold it in place

I don't like sticking things to my phone either. My solution for the Rennline mount was to buy a cheap, faux carbon fiber, hard case and stick the steel plate to that.

The case I bought was very hard to remove, so I ground off some material form the corners so that it was easy to slip on and off, while still holding the phone securely.

This lets me easily use the Rennline mount without messing up my phone.

I thought about that, but for now decided on the T-Design mount and will see how that works for me.

Totally out of the way of my hand (operating controls etc), and it does not bother passengers, although my only passenger is my wife, who's bothered by the whole idea of a Porsche.
What cupholder is that? I like it!

I'm in Mill Valley and found a very usable solution which places the phone within view for using navigation apps but without blocking my view o the PCM and that also provides wireless charging.
Send me a PM and we can get together for some coffee and talk about the setup. You can find a thread on it here: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1059...l#post14983912
