I've commented on your car before and the wheels and just have to say how well "put-together" your car is. It looks amazing. Love the wheels. Especially love the offsets. Not too aggressive, but "flush" as I recall you indicating you had requested without protruding. Very well done.

Computers display 8 bits/channel which is plenty for the finished product, but if you shoot in 8 and then edit it, you tend you get artifacts when you emphasize a certain portion of the palette. So you end up with a cleaner product by starting with 20 and only going down to 8 after you're finished messing with it.

I do have plans and hope to be back to work soon. A year without work due to a noncompete has slowed down toys. Will finish performance mods first. I have plans though!
3rd radiator
plenum
headers
tune
cobb
kw springs
gt3 sway/ endlinks
then sport mirrors
after that some subtle carbon accents
lastly... maybe wheels.

Nice. I think the carbon accents could look good depending on what wheels you go with and if you lower the car. If you don't want to go all the way across the front there is a carbon SPASM lip ive seen around. I'm told the weave may not match vorsteiners weave but I think it could be fine since it's smaller and up front where they won't be next to each other.
I've been debating plenum myself but my mechanic told me he thought that the plenum as well as headers didn't do anything for the car. He really talked me out of spending the money as he thought it would only void the warranty with very little if any benefit. He used to be the master tech for Gaudin Porsche before opening his own shop. He had a plenum for sale in his shop even, so I trusted him on it.
Oddly enough he didn't think suspension mods were as big of an issue.
I'd like to get the DSC module next personally. I'm thinking about Cobb as well especially since what seems to make these cars move is the PDK.

Yes - Cabs don't look at good with aggressive aero IMO.... OEM style CF SPASM lip and rear section around the exhaust. if I get wheels... either a dark gray or Bronze/copper setup from CCW or HRE. I won't slam the car but certainly lower it to just under SPASM height.
If you want power - Headers/IPD/Cobb is the way to go. That 3 part combo will outperform X51 (yeah warranty blah blah blah) and it'll clean up some mid range as well as breath a little better up high. I've driven this combo and it really wakes the 3.8 up. Thankfully the 991 comes factory with the GT3 throttle body.
the plenum is a PITA to install so maybe the mechanic just didn't want to do it... Even the X51 attributes the majority of the gains to their plenum.

vorsteiner discontinued their carbon side skirts. If you search you can find some photos. Eric at Supreme Power had them on his 991 at one point.

Thanks! You guys seem to be running a great operation from everything I see on IG and rennlist. I'm going to do something with the exhaust I just can't make up my mind about it.
The car is now on Brixton's front page with a feature if anyone is interested.

I can honestly say anyone looking at high end wheels should definitely consider Brixton.

Hey everyone I'm sure you're sick of me posting photos but this time it's professional. Brixton Forged Wheels sent a photographer to Vegas from Arizona to shoot the car out at Eldorado Dry Lake. The photos came out pretty great. I'll update here as more of the final photos come through. Let me just say the guys at Brixton were first class to work with all the way. From the consult all the way through their commissioning of a photographer to shoot the car. Can't recommend them or their wheels enough.
in case anyone is wondering: the car is lowered on techart springs and has the full carbon aero kit from vorsteiner. Courtesy of Supreme Power. The wheels are OEM spec in replacement and the offsets are proprietary, Brixton doesn't release those details. Tires are Michelin pilot sport 4S.

Looking fantastic Johnny!
If I'm not mistaken, weren't you originally planning a more bronze color for the wheels? It doesn't really matter... I think that this color works perfectly, especially against the agate and carbon trims.

Hia Jonny,
Sweet wheels, they look like more aggressive oem wheels. Very clean!
I am also about to order some forged wheels. Mind sharing your wheels specs? what offsets you use? I was thinking of using the specs from HRE ff04 which have a 65 offset in the back
