There are others on this site that have mentioned putting the 295s on the 12in rear CLs but I have not seen a picture or heard how it turned out.
Back one page...
Got the 295's on the 12" rim today. Don't look too bad, definitely not as much lip as the fronts but still has a little.

Looks good. More flush than I would have thought.

I have 295s on 12s on my gts4 2018. Got at dealer in case of trouble 4000km already in snow and ice and no problem. The rears look a little to flush for me but they drive fine

Just got my car in October; the first thing I did was order a wheel and tire combo from Tire Rack for the winter. My dealer stores the summer wheels for you, making the process really simple. I purchased an inexpensive set of 19" rims with Pirelli SottoZeros. They're quieter than the Pirelli PZeros on the summer 20" wheels. So far it's been a fantastic combo. Ohio winters can be brutal (7°F today) but the Porsche is always up for it. The only challenge is refraining from washing it every day because of the road salt..

Winter tires are easy to get and install IF YOU DON'T HAVE CENTRELOCK WHEELS, hence this thread.

Well done.
Thanks BlazinPond! I agree the contrast between the stock matte black wheels for the summer and the polished wheels for the fall & winter is a nice way to change it up. The car definitely looks meaner with the black wheels on. But I really like the bit of variety.

Sorry for the slight three jack but for anyone who has a 2015 991.1 GTS what are the sizes differences? All these setups look great to me by the way especially the OEM turbo wheels. Awesome guys.

Although my 991.2 GTS runs 245/35ZR20 and 305/30ZR20 in the summer (it's a 12"-wide wheel at the back) I'm running 245/35ZR20 and 295/30ZR20 without a problem in winter.

The 295/30 wheel in the back still looks very good.

I looked it up and correctly someone a couple pages back stated the 991.1 GTSs have 11.5 inch rears, the .2 GTSs have 12 inch rear widths. Interestingly though, the standard Pirelli P-zeros on both cars are 305s in the rear. Agree that the OEM Turbo S wheels look fantastic as a change.

Similar catalogue for the .1 GTS (I have a copy and available online I'm sure)

Resurrecting this thread since its getting COLD for some of us already. Annoying that my dealer says 295 is too small for the 12 inch rear wheel. Pushing me to go with the turbo S winter wheel/tire combo for $7,500...

295s work just fine at the 12' wide wheel. it's not unsafe by any means

I bought winter wheels and tires from tire rack. 305 on the rear. All worked well. Dealer installed. That said, I see that 295 will stretch to fit. Dealer did not want to do it, but I did not push. I see you are in Westchester. Do you go to Larchmont or Greenwich?

Larchmont. I live close by. Unfortunately they won't install 295s on the 12 inch rears... It's painful cause I waited 9 months to get my GT3 and finally took delivery yesterday. Just trying to extend the driving season as long as possible.

Same as me. Larchmont. Great dealer and had expected to just get tires to mount on wheels (when the car was ordered) then discovered the issue last fall. That said, very happy with the OZ CL winter setup from the tire rack.
