FWIW Porsches dealership says 295 will fit on 12" wheels and the stretch is minor. I'm stuck deciding too.

Looking at the lip on the wheel and the fit of the 305s gave me concern. I am sure it's safe - but I did this on my wife's car with staggered fit and ended up spending a few bucks on refinishing the wheel lip at the end of the winter. Less $$ than buying new wheels - but I opted for the extra wheels / tires. Good luck

Yeah. I was bummed and excited all at the same time. But happy with the new wheels. Can't wait to see them on!

About time! I had the same question in the GT3 forum. Now there is a matched set of sottozero 3. Woo hoo!

Hi Ken
Do you have it ship to Canada or a receiving service depot down in state?
Thank you

What did you decide?

I had one dealer advise me not to go with 295. I had another, seemingly more knowledgeable dealer, tell me to absolutely go with the 295 on the 12" wheel. They stated the 295 would fit the 12" wheel, it was "Porsche approved". Additionally, they said the 295 is like a pizza cutter in the snow while the 305 is like being on ice skates.

I went with the 295s on 11inch wheels. Decent amount of Tire pushing past the wheel edge (lip) which is nice in the winters when the roads are not at their best (since my primary concern with the 295’s on 12 inch wheels is wheel lip damage). My dealer was also not supportive of putting the 295’s on the 12 inch wheels. I think if I was a lease customer with wheel and tire coverage I may have rolled the dice a little more.

And thanks!

My dealer is installing Pirelli sottozeros 295s on my stock 12 inch centre locks next Tuesday. On their recommendation. We shall see .........

I am also having the dealer install 295's on my 12" centerlocks this Saturday.
Checked with the parts and service guys who also checked with the techs and they've done it several times before. Will see how it turns out...

Biker lee and rsess- would greatly appreciate feedback and pics if possible.

As an aside my buddy just had 295 Michelin Alpins put on his .1 GTS (which I believe is 11.5 inch wheel) and they look great.
