911 T

Three Wheelin'
The GT3 is now close to a $200K car with a few options and taxes/tags, something not really discussed on the other forum. A base 3L turbo w modest weight reduction, think late 80s Club Sport or RS America, at the right price (always the biggest if) would be an attractive, more elemental, sports oriented offering despite the predictable guffaws from the NA or die crowd.

But a NA 3.0 does sound a lot more exciting than a base 3.0 turbo.

I would take one.
Even with a base 9A2 powerplant, a narrow body (and hopefully lightweight, i.e. Spyder like) would be a joy to drive, esp. for weekend canyon carving.

Any news re the 991 T?
I've got rumours that Porsche will launch the T in December. As stated before, basic Carrera, retro look, no back seats, no nothing but the look. Rumoured base prize in Germany is € 105k which is c € 10k above the Carrera. Numbers limited! In Slate Grey or Irish Green it could become my DD, sounds cool. To drive the alps, I'm getting the 991 GT3 Touring in April (for which I've lost PTS after they've committed it to me for the regularly GT3).
Next gen only hybrids is another rumour (which I believe only for the 992.2).
Is the 991 T (and it's Turbo brothers) the new natural aspirated/air cooled, (again) the last real 911?
