And who gives a ****?
This 911 is way more beautiful than I would have imagined given the individual pieces, like the wood trim or the golden emblem. Sorry, but this whole "get the S" thing is getting kind of ridonkulous.

If someone described the colour, wood etc you wouldn't think it would be a great combo, but it looks really classy.
Porsche's press release says it is an S. https://newsroom.porsche.com/downloa...3a6327&lang=en
FWIW. I just think it is gorgeous and could care less about the model designation.

No offense to you east coast guys, but that beautiful car would look more at home on the wide open expanses of the west....

I really like it. The gold letters, chrome window trims, and even the wood in the interior (usually an anti-wood 911 guy), but everything works well together and has a very classy timeless look.

I was only commenting on a previous thread that discussed whether it was an S or not. As a previous 991.2 base owner, and current GTS owner, I think there is nothing wrong with the base, it is an excellent car. No need to get defensive because you have a base with no PSE and 19" wheels.

Try and consider that the purpose is not marketing, but homage to the original 911, and perhaps the specific things like chrome window trim, wood in the interior and gold badging may make more sense to you. Or not.
