The new 991.2 does not force you to "confirm" the lawyers' caution screen before entering SatNav. But my 991.1 does. Obviously Porsche figured out (as have all the carmakers by now) that the screen is unnecessary, not to mention a pain in the neck.
I tried calling some independent piwis shops, but no one can read German or figure it out. I'm sure an authorized Porsche dealer won't touch it (mine won't).
Any ideas? I realize this is a fwp, but it drives me nuts.
Thanks!

I thought about tackling that problem by using a small microcontroller to inject two successive button-push events on the MAP button a few seconds after engine startup. If I ever need to pull that control panel out of the dash I'll look at doing that, but it hasn't bothered me enough to force the issue yet.
Many people don't realize you can 'double-click' the MAP button to skip the warning screen. If that didn't work, I'd definitely take the appropriate steps.

Many thanks to Noah Fect (clever name) -- I am one of those "many people" who did not realize a double-tap of the "map" button eliminates the need to hit the "confirm" lawyer-screen. Muscle memory will have that down pat in no time.
