What's your other car/DD (if you have one)

Not sure if this thread already exists...didn't come up with any hits in the search (although I didn't look that hard
Was wondering what the other 991 drivers out there have as its sidekick. I live in NE Ohio, so I always have a separate DD to accompany my CPO '13 911 C2S.
Picking up a brand new AMG C43 sedan this evening to be my DD for the next 3 years. Wife's car is a 16' GTI. The AMG C43 will be replacing a VW Tiguan lease. Was originally set on grabbing a Macan GTS, but I've never had a Merc before and I fell in love the C43 - variety is good. And saving about $20k between the Macan GTS and Merc isn't so bad either.
So whatcha got?

2002 BMW Z8 - bought in 2005 with 28K miles on it and now have 102K. I use my Porsche as the Daily Driver, but a few years back while living in the Chesapeake/VA Beach area, I used it as the daily commuter for a couple of years. Love the car, not a squeak or a rattle - solid as a rock. Great to have a manual to enjoy between the PDK drives with the Targa.

Here's a pic of my Z and my 911 - I alternate daily driving between them. Rennlisters will laugh but that Z has been a fantastic car. Between it and the 911 I clearly have a thing for the domed sports car shape and 5 spoke wheels.
Cheers,
NF

I'm relatively young for the typical Porsche clientele so when I walked into the dealership wearing, shorts, faded old college tshirt, and bright blue crocs. I was with my younger brother who is still in college and does photography as a hobby. We walked in and were looking at the 918 by the door and were approached by a someone who worked there. They were starting the "can I help you, if not go away" speech until my CA recognized me (from my a picture of my DL I sent him over text) and saved that other individual from really putting their foot in their mouth. I'm glad I didn't find out if I was about get the boot since that would've been a disappointing first experience with Porsche.

Define DD ;-)
The 991 gets 1 day per work week and all week ends
The E-golf generally 3 work days (free access to HOV lane, city parking)
The BMW and Alfa share the 1 remaining work day duty, and also week ends with the 991

I had an old style diesel Range Rover Sport, which is currently being sold. Going to try daily the 911 for a while, in part because I want to move to a petrol or petrol-hybrid SUV and none really catch my interest. I'm kind of interested in the Velar but it being new to market it's got a huge premium on it.
