Wink I'm Done, GTS Build Finalized and in the System. **Edit, See Post #33**

EDIT: See Post # 33

After all of my posts regarding a C2S build, which was changed to a GTS, I am finally finished agonizing on selections. Just left the dealer where the SA and I finalized the order. I had a brief thought last night to go back to Miami Blue with yellow PCCB's, but in the end stuck with Carmine Red. The build code is PJSJLSZ5.

911 Carrera GTS
Carmine Red OL
Leather Interior in Black AZ
Lane Change Assist 457
Rear Axle Steering 470
Heated Multifunction Steering Wheel 489
Smoking Package 583
Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof in Glass 653
Deletion of Alcantara 714
GT Sport Steering Wheel 858
Bose Surround Sound System 9VL
Carbon Fiber Interior Package i.c.w. Leather Interior EKG
Power Sport Seats (14 Way) with Memory Package P06
Voice Control VH1
Sport Design Package XAT
Sport Chrono Dial in White XGM
Rear Center Tunnel in Leather in Decorative Stitching XHS
Porsche Crest on Headrests XSC
Steering Column Casing in Leather with Stitching in Deviated XVA
Extended Interior Package with Stitching in Deviated Thread (GT Silver) XVL
Door Sill Guards in Carbon Fiber, Illuminated XXD
Ornamental Porsche Crest ZAB
Premium Package i.c.w. Power Sports Seats (14 Way) P#E

Spent more than I wanted to, but the car is well optioned and my intention is to enjoy it for many, many years.

I really appreciate all of the input from everyone. This has been a tough process for me and Im glad the figuring out part is over (so is my wife and SA!!) and now all I have to do is relax and wait

EDIT: See Post # 33

Just so you know, you are paying $1200 for just the stitching on the rear center as it is already leather with leather interior.

Congrats on your order, it is going to look awesome. The configurator can drive you nearly insane. My order locks 9/19 and I still cannot decide what color. Have seen three Carmine red 911's on the Autobahn showroom in Fort Worth and they are beautiful.

Yeah I know. Had it in my last car and liked it a lot. Porsche deviated stitching is a huge ripoff but I do like the look.

Thanks! The colors, both exterior and the stitching, had me so worked up I was bouncing off the walls. I took a weekend trip to a dealer in a another town which mostly verified my choice of CR. But I kept second guessing myself until this morning when I finally decided what to do. No regrets with any of the selections in spite of the price of some of them. I debated the sport design spoiler but finally came to the conclusion that I would kick myself in the a** if I didn't get it. And so it went with many other selections.

Congratulations. Nice color, Car and build.
Carmine looks really good, in fact I briefly considered getting one when I saw it on the showroom floor, but the dealer was not willing to budge on price. Ended up getting the usual black color at a different dealership. I don't think your car will disappoint you in the slightest bit. When do you get it? Enjoy.

Lock is 9/14, delivery projected to be 12/8. SA pulled a rabbit out of his hat to get this allocation for me which he got mid week last week.

Great looking build. Did you consider and reject the carbon fiber steering wheel? It really ties together the various carbon fiber bits you're already getting. I got it in mine and I'm really pleased with it.

Thanks! Yes I did consider the CF steering wheel and it looks really good and you are correct it ties it all together. However for me I like the texture of a leather wheel so decided to go with that.

The pictures of your car with the black natural leather and GT Silver stitching sealed that deal for me. Your car is super nice.

Very nice build and good move upgrading to the GTS in Carmine Red. Looking forward to real life pics when completed.
