Hi flatsick,
We have similar tastes. I have a white 2013 base 7MT, bought CPO in 2015. I have an AWE x-pipe as well and at times would like it just a little louder.
Did you install the x-pipe first then the fister mods? If so can you describe the relative sound difference between the two. Which one made more of a difference. Overall I don't want any hint of drone.

We've received a lot of comments that X-Pipe alone isn't loud enough, which is what lead to our exhaust design. The right amount of volume and aggression with valves open, and a quiet, refined Porsche experience with valves closed.
We currently have an S in house which has our Valved Exhaust if anyone would like to visit and experience it, or if there are any requests for video clips outside of these:
As mentioned earlier, we'll take care of any Rennlist member interested in our system or headers.

hey K-A,
If you want a proper 911 exhaust sound, get one of these. Probably out of your price range though if you are looking at the cheapest exhaust you can weld to your car.
No 991 is ever going to sound as good as my 2.4l MFI in my '73 S Yeah, it only makes 205 hp on the dyno, but it's worth 3 times what our "new" 991.1s are.
Beyond that, as I said on the Macan Forum, drive with the x-pipe for a while before you decide about anything drastic. You may find it drones and is loud enough already.

+1 on 2.4 MFI. It sounds like an angry Norse God and makes the hair on my arms stand up... And that's just my 2.4T, I imagine your S has another 1200 rpm of fury.... MFI really sounded good - not the best injection system for a street car though, it was very short lived and inda of a pain in the *** to setup even back in the day, per my mechanic who was already in business then. But that noise is something else.....
