Is a 991.1 bubble about to burst?

Last of the NA cars? A guy I talked with last weekend was proud of the fact that his new car, a 718, was "a Turbo" just like my 991 turbo!

Manuals NA is where it's at. Coupe manuals are less than 10% of the 991 marketplace.
No, it is not a proper 6 speed, but a great manual nonetheless.
I think those values will stay high.

I was told my car is 1 of 2 in North America. Only spec in US (white GTS, MT, no sunroof, CL wheels, premium plus/18 ways). Not an investment piece per se but you are assed out if you want one. Unless you make me an offer I can't refuse....... Or you have the twin--it's in Canada.

Disagree, this is purely price/supply driven. While most folks would love to have a new 991.2, the price are very high $$ new. This will naturally drive up the 991.1 prices. I don't think the S&P has much to do with Porsche prices. Also, take a look at the monthly sales for new 911 cars, they are way down. This may be due to softening demand due to price and brand competition. There is an awful lot of competition out there, I see more Corvettes, GT350's and BMW's at the track, very few 991.2 911's. In fact, I have seen one all season.
As for the GT cars, they are in a league of their own with limited production designed not to meet the demand. The prices for the GT cars boggles my mind.

Surely that's a sign that there is a bubble, and bubbles always burst. Right?

Also, many people still haven't come around to .2 turbos. Many of them probably won't until 992 hits, or not even then. This has created a firm market for the .1s. But no bubble.

Haha speaking of bubble. This guy has a beautiful new GTS listed for sale for $180k. Now that's a bubble price! But it's doubtful he'll ever get that price. I guess I could see that one going for MSRP? But no more.

Beautiful car nonetheless. It was for sale here locally a couple of years ago. I almost bought it but had a shady experience with the dealer so I moved on.
Re 991.1 bubble, I purchased my cpo '15 4GTS 7mt last Sept. for $104k, traded it in this past May for $100k even. Dealer originally listed it for $120k (ha) and now has is listed for $109k. My guess is that it will sell close to what I paid for it.
Original MSRP was $133k.

Buy a car you like or enjoy the one you currently have guys.
They're toys or daily drivers. Who cares about the values?? The cheapest thing is to NOT buy one in he first place.
