Thanks for the info, will look into picking up a second set of used wheels so I can swap back and forth.

Get another set of wheels and get Hoosiers. If you're not trailering yet you will be. Don't ask me how I know.

Hoosiers are the crack cocaine of tires. Believe me you'll feel like Ayrton Senna.

Yep those are sticky tires...issue though is you have to change parts (lower control arms) to get the -3 camber in front and at least -2.5 in rear to properly run Hoosiers....they on the street with street tires...you have less tire and grip on the ground. You also need to run race brake pads too. Oh yes and the trail you mentioned too...got have that with Hoosiers....those $1700 Hoosiers really cost around $15k....LOL
Yep been there done that.

I've decided to try out the SC2s the first time around. I went ahead and selected the option to have Tirerack heat cycle them, was that a good idea or waste of money?

Also, anyone know if I need to add any spacers for the 305s in the rear? I can't find anything conclusive in my search, but doesn't look like it.
Nio need to heat cycle these tires....the drive to the track does that and the warm up session if your club does one does that.

Before you go to the track get an alignment....you will need at least -1.7 front and rear for MPSC2's I am hearing.

I just order MPSC2's and getting my GTS aligned on Wednesday. My GTS has the Sport PASM which is lower and usually allows more neg camber than reg PASM. I don't want to spend on lower control arms again in order to get more neg camber like I had to do on my 2009 and 2012 S and GTS because I was running Too R888 and Nitto NT01 which need at least -2.5 front and -2 rear on this 997 cars and those tires.

You might consider going to 19" wheels. That will give you many more options for tire choice. The sport cup 2's and Hoosier's are great on the track. The Re71's are a great autocross tire, haven't tracked them. Going to try them this weekend.

Almost forgot. Don't run the Sport Cup 2's below 55 degrees. They can delaminate. Found out the hard way. Spoke with Michelin racing and that is the lower temperature limit of the tire.

Thanks for all the input. I hadn't considered that I may need to tweak the alignment. Will look into that. I thought I read that stock setup in my C2S with PASM is around -2 front & rear? is that accurate?

BTW, regarding brakes, I am running Pagid RS29s front & rear. They are great on the track, but they are completely awful on the street as they squeal like someone scratching nails on a chalkboard every time I try to come to a stop. The entire neighborhood knows when I'm coming home lol
