It arrived in Halifax July 9th and I thought it was going to be held hostage until mid August. Today, it was delivered to the dealer. I am pretty excited! The interior looks great with acid green deviating stitching.
I am guessing Canada. They have different regulations than we do so his success with getting his 2018 released might not be indicative of the US market.
I am in Canada; on the East Coast. The car will be ready next week and I'll post some pictures when they take the shipping blocks out. The black targa bar on this 2018 is different than on the GTS; it has the lettering in silver.
The Porsche stripe is from the factory. I was trying to pick up the 2nd color of silver in the wheels while remaining understated. The jury is still out on this. I hope this early release opens the door to more deliveries.

Very interesting. They don't offer either of these options in then US that I am aware of....
