Default Stripes on a GTS cab

So I have an Agate Grey on Black/Bordeaux GTS4 Cab coming in. I like the look of the stripes on turbo s exclusive. Will it look odd on a cab?

Thanks in advance.

Its just vinyl put them on and if you don't like them peel them off. Like I did in this case not a lot of of time or money waisted.

I think that black and red looks great!

However, I don't think stripes will work on a Cabriolet. Are you going to put them on the cloth roof? I'd like to see a pic of that!

That's where I'm conflicted. Top is usually down and it's black. Was going to do the hood and tail. On a coupe I wouldn't hesitate. It would be black on Agate so kinda like the one on the left in the picture. With black stone guards.

Don't do it! Last thing you need is a crumpled up racing stripe jamming up your top. Enjoy your new ride for a while without anything aftermarket. When you get tired of it, then add some aftermarket mods. Wheels, exhaust etc.

I wouldn't put anything on the top. But ya maybe wait it out. I am planning on getting ceramic coating which means nothing sticks after without some serious work. That's why i was trying to figure it out before the treatment.

Ugly. Maybe on a lowered civic.

Not a fan at all and kind of agree with Bacura. I think I am old but taking a $130k plus car and putting stickers on it is from my Jetta days in the 90's.

I am certainly the minority because ever one seems to be doing it.

You need to look at how Porsche does it, on an Agate Gray car they would need to be very subtle, like a lighter gray so they look blended, not intense. Part of that reason for subtlety is because you have the top break with the convertible. For example, this was my 2008 Boxster S, Design Edition 2 - and this was factory. They work on this car because they were not in-your-face bold. They ran on the hood, the deck lid, and the sides.

Run a photo of your car in Photoshop, then play with the layout and colors. On my Agate Gray Cab, I went only with door decals I made on my vinyl cutter machine, but I wouldn't rule out doing subtle stripes.

I've been contemplating this too.... Thought about getting color matched + matte strips.

Lex. That is my plate and I've had it since my 997. Here it is on my 991.1 that I sold (miss her terribly. Has the wildest Exhaust with the sharkwerks bypass)
