991.1 S to 991.2 S Issues!
I bit the bullet and traded in my 2012 Carerra S for a 2017 S. I'm, for the most part, happy with the new car, but I have issues. I do like it being quicker. I do prefer the old engine for the sound, but I also appreciate the fact that I have in fact 3 engine exhaust settings, which changes depending on my mood.
I do have two issues with my car, one of them a big issue. The fist is the suspension. There is a large thunk/clunk when I roll over bumps, and is very obvious going over speed bumps. I took it to the dealer and they said it was normal. I refuse to believe that this is normal. Funny thing is they drove me in another 991.2, and it had a the same sound, albeit way quieter. Is anyone having the same issue? I didn't have this clunk in my 991.1 or my 997 S. I'm considering contacting Porsche directly to get a second opinion.
The second problem is I am noticing a loud click when I step on the pedal, and release the pedal. I know it is coming from the turbos because when I step on the gas and rev the engine in park, the noise isn't there, due to the turbos being idle. It only recently started. I don't know anything about turbo engines, and was told this noise is also normal. I bought the car three months ago, and only recently heard the noise last week. It's loud enough to be obvious. Before I tell Porsche about this problem, I'd like to ask the question here if that noise is normal. Is it the waste gate opening and closing? Mind you, this noise is happening when I gently pull off, so the turbos aren't spooling up. I would really appreciate the help with these two issues, before kicking them up the chain.

On the clunk, I'd try another dealer. Before you go to the dealer, really look in the whole car for a golf ball or anything in the interior that could cause noise.
Our engines make a ton of normal noises. Not sure exactly what are describing but it could be normal fuel injector noises. Try the new dealer if you still concerned.

I have the same clunk--right rear. Dealer had mine for a week and made no progress. For what it's worth, I've heard the same noise in other makes/models (and I thought it was an issue there as well). It's definitely suspension/subframe related as I've heard the same noise in front engine cars.
As for the click on/off throttle, that sounds like exhaust value. Mine buzz a ton in sport plus as the anti-lag kicks on and off as needed. I also get a boom from time to time as the exhaust releases pressure.
Just be thankful you don't have wheel bearing noise from your RWS setup. -_-

The throttle is electronic, and if you are hearing a click its a solenoid activating. Where in the car this is - you will have to determine. It's not your Turbos, they spool up based on exhaust gas pressure.
Suspension clunks can be any number of things. Something loose, something rattling, these cars have big tires with thin sidewalls and fat wheels, they all make noise to some degree over things like speed bumps. Again, that takes some investigating to pinpoint. Turn off the radio, the A/C have someone walk alongside the car as you go over the speed bump and figure out where its coming from.

I have a weird feeling in the rear suspension when going over speed bumps as well, I wrote it off as something to do with the PDCC. Other than speed bumps everything feels normal.

I haven't noticed these noises in my C2, so maybe it's an "S" related issue.

engine click appears to be normal. I hear it precisely at 28 seconds and 30 seconds in the video. It happens just before you hear the turbos spool up. Depending on if you are driving alongside a wall or other cars, determines how loud it is, because it echoes off these objects. As I said, it doesn't happen when u rev the engine in park, only when the car is in motion, just before spool up.
