When the time is right, a nice road trip to Florida would actually be pretty cool.

I got into whitewater kayaking back in the 90's and early 2000's when I was stationed in Idaho. Great rivers up there. I've been using this screen-name for about 15 years now even though I don't get out on the rivers now that I'm stationed in FL. I need to make a trip up to Tennessee one of these days. Still have my boat, it's just been collecting dust in the loft area of my shed.

Sending you a PM now.

Wow, I'm at +69,000 miles, now. Will be doing this again in early 2020. Plus a coolant flush, and manual gear lube change. All proactive. Maybe even do the water pump early.

Thanks, LexVan. This is helpful reference.

I just did the 60k (6 year) on my 13 C2S. The car has 10,600 miles.

Cost of serpentine belt, oil change, all filters and brake fluid flush was $1,220 at the local Indie I've used for years.

It struck me as expensive, particularly for an independent, but he's much more convenient for me than a dealer (none in SF if you can believe it) and it is N Ca, after all!

After reading your post, I don't feel too bad about what I paid.....

I will add itemization the next time I'm in the car and grab the invoice.

Reviving an old post but where did you end up servicing in DC area and how much? My 40K is coming up in the next 6 months. Thanks!

If anyone in the DC area has a recommendation for a dealer that will do the 40k service at a reasonable price around here, please PM me with the details.

I ended up going to Porsche Silver Spring. For the plugs, oil change, brake flush and whatever else was on the schedule for the 4yr/40k was ~$1800. I also had a changeover valve for my heater quit on the way to the dealer, so that was a few hundred extra, but they cut the price on the labor since they already had the bumper off.

The work they did was fine. But, the service adviser I had was new and had a bad attitude. She was very condescending. For that reason, I probably wouldn't go back there.

The service intervals might now just include what is listed for the 40k service. Your car may need brake pads. It might be due for PDCC fluid filter change, and drive belt. Those are all due at 60k OR 6 years, whichever comes first.

I believe the 40k service is about $1600 + $800 for PDCC fluid filter + $400 for drive belt. Not sure the cost of brake pad replacement but another $1200 isn't surprising.

It's beyond surprising to ridiculous.

Anything else for year 2 and 8k miles? Filters?

You could always do the small pre-filter in the frunk. It's about $12 and super easy to do. The cabin filter, under the glovebox is more $, hard to reach, and lasts longer.
