I've only got 17K on my car, and its due for plugs at 4 years which will be end of this year. I'm debating whether or not to do it, or let it go longer. My car is not out in rain or driven in the winter, so there would be no rust or corrosion to do them on time - that's my thinking, anyways. Your plugs look good from the photos, a bit of carbon buildup on the electrode on a couple, but wear looks minimal.

my car is almost 4 years old and have 10K miles; still planning on getting plugs done.
planning on keeping car for a very, very long time so it's in my best interest (paranoia)

Can old plugs cause any malfunction in other parts? Don't think so, but would like experts to say.
Other than that, I would only do them at 4 years and 30k miles IF THE CPO WERE AT RISK for not doing it. Is that a possibility?

The oil change seems pretty reasonable. My 10k miles oil change on my Panamera 4 was £300, although that did include the oil.

I'm also getting close to my 4yr/40k service and want to see what others are paying. I plan on getting quotes from a couple local dealers, but so far have been told $2400 (!) from the first dealer.
If anyone in the DC area has a recommendation for a dealer that will do the 40k service at a reasonable price around here, please PM me with the details.

Are they giving you a reach around for $2400?
Should be around $1500-1800.
If you have a garage and some tools you can do it for $350

It is indeed good to see a 911 cab owner, living in Chicago, driving their car 40k miles in 4 years. Too many garage queens in the Boston area.
Cost of ownership is what it is. The 40k service price is quite reasonable.

In October, had the 4 year service done (at 26K miles). I provided the plugs, engine air filters and serpentine belt (since rear bumper coming off anyway per LexVan's recommendation). Also had them do my second brake flush but no oil change. Did some negotiating and it cost $950. Thought it was reasonable
