Default 991.2 TT/S Tune?

Hey guys,

Are there any updates here regarding the 991.2 tune for the TT and TTS?
Seems there isn't a genuine tune on the market.

Techart have a piggy back option...

Thanks.

A partner of ours over in Germany has developed a from scratch tune for the 991.2 Turbo/S, which is a complete replacement ECU, and not a piggy back unit. This will leave your factory ECU untouched, and leave you with an option that will surely surpass the capabilities of a piggy back unit. Feel free to check the link below, and PM/Call us for more info!

After our conversation, I never heard back from you on this. Can only assume this is only for a Non S Turbo right? Are they using .1 ECU's in the .2's?

Is there any new information on this? How about the GIAC software? I'm reluctant to mod without an ECU solution. Ideally, it would be Cobb, but they have no clue when they'll have something available.

So many of us are patiently waiting for some numbers and several tuning solutions. I can say from experience that while waiting we have picked up some nice documented power and speed so far from good hardware components/set-ups. Some of my guys have yet to be bested in performance running just our stage 2 or 3 hardware and waiting on a tune which we hope will take things to the next level. The .2 takes well to good hardware, better than the .1. Everyone says they can really feel it and as many of you know I always stand behind my claims 100%

Stage 7 has my Inconel Stage 2+ and ran 10.2 at 132 back to back with stock tires.
2 members bested their 1/2 mile speed by 3 and 4 mph running Stage 3 hardware.
We have dyno tested and proven gains from 25/25 hp/tq to about 60/60.

Several guys are now getting their cars and installing at independent shops and well as dealerships so I am sure we will see more results soon.

I don't see why it wouldn't be safe, if the tune is. But it's certainly not convenient.

Few tuners in Europe already have programs, from the big houses or other good tuners but less exposed, such as MTO engineering, PP performance and others.

The chances of damaging your engine with the 991 and some random program are close to nil, there are so many safety triggers in your ECU that the car will go into limp mode worse case scenario for a few minutes. Unlike the older generations.

Going to fixed boost controller would be another story, but that's not what this topic is about.
