OK, I have searched on lowering the turbo, but get a lot of scattered posts. I have an 18 Turbo that should be here in about 6-8 weeks. I want to lower the car, and admittedly it is primarily for looks. I am a PCA Instructor and definitely will track the car, but am a bit concerned about upsetting the factory suspension geometry, and compromising the suspension software (PASM) management system. I know that lowering a car will affect negative camber. So my question is, will the Porsche camber, toe, and caster factory parameters still work when lowered. I don't want anything radical. From what I've read it sounds like right around 1.8 front and 2.0 rear camber is doable on the Turbo.

Also looking at spring choices and the Techart, GMG and H&R springs seem the most popular. I like the GMG units because they seem to lower the car the least at 28mm, and are progressive, versus Techart at 30mm. I understand that H&R lowers the most and may "settle" even lowering over time.

Decision, decisions. It's driving me crazy, but at least giving me something to do until my ship comes in. I'm fine sticking with the 4x4 look if lowering the car compromises track/suspension performance. I don't just want a "look" for the street.... it has to work!

I believe you will be able to correct the camber, caster, and toe back to spec with an alignment after the spring install.

Many after market springs including (I'm guessing from memory here) H&R and Techart come from Eibach..so you may simply wish to source Eibach for your spring application/information. They make a spring specific to our cars...not sure about '18 but it may be worth your while to query them.

KBS - In regards to our lowering springs (link), an alignment back to factory-recommended specs is doable after spring installation. However, note that if you are tracking the car, it's a great chance to set it up to be a bit more track-friendly. Out-of-the-box alignments tend to leave a fair amount on the table.

Nanook - Neither Techart or H&R use Eibach for manufacturing. Bulk manufacturers like Eibach do a decent "general" lowering spring. Marque-specialists like us do a lot of additional R&D and then go to a manufacture like Eibach to produce springs to our specs (with the contractual agreement not to replicate them).

I lowered mine last week using Eibach. 0.8" in the front and 0.3 in the back. Very nice. Not too low and just right for me. The ride is even better than stock..

Every car i have owned i have lowered. With my 991.2 I went with Techart and am very happy. Ride is excellent.

Are your HRE's 21"? Beautiful car! Do you happen to have more videos of it besides the one demonstrating the Kline system? I'm waiting on my 2018 white TTS and was kind of kicking myself for switching to white from miami blue.

I opted for the 20" R101 in black because Michelins don't make PSS or PS4 in the sizes that would fit the 21" rims for the TTS. Hopefully they will still look as nice as yours.

I looked at the 20" but to me, there is no substitute for that stance. I know your car will look amazing!
