It's Canada in general - the order process took almost 8 months (Edmonton), and after the allocation was confirmed, almost 6 months to get the car.

In fact, that makes it more exclusive than my Type-R, of which there were only 80 in Canada for 1997.

And you've replied to one of my posts . My 2016 TT Cab is one of 96 in the USA, so also pretty rare. Its a collectible!

On a serious note - all 911 sales show a decline in general from 2017 to 2019. Taking out the GT series as they typically only run 2 years and are all spoken for. But whether its a regular Carrera/S or a TT/S, they all have dropped off significantly. Is that market for $110K to $200K sports cars dropping off. We all criticize Porsche for the 992 etc., but the 991 was seriously slowing in creating demand. They have to make something that sells. I dont know the answer to my question.

On the Turbo front - Way more .1's sold than .2's.. Demand slowing? Tougher economy? Alternatives to a 911 Turbo being offered. Prices going up. And here comes the 991.2 TTS starting at $204K in this world. Are they gonna sell 50 of them?

My 2017 991.2 MSRP was 203K and with a 992 spec with same options, it was close to $230........and over $240 if I wanted GBM paint...quite a leap, especially since I bought it CPO for $ 170K 2 years ago.....

No my post was tongue in cheek - that you're someone who owns a 1:26 car and we're internet "friends"

So the largest single number in the production chart is 2018 GT3 at 2,300 units...... Can anyone speculate why that particular spike? More than 5 x as many as my 2018 TTS, really surprises me.

high demand while economy was good, and idea that GT3 cars were more exclusive and did not depreciate - all a mirage...dealers made great ADMs and Porsche made a ton with these more expensive 911s

GT3's are typically 1-1.5 year runs. The .2's were mostly 18's and less 19's. The .1's were 14-16 only because of the stop sale in 14 (engine issues) and they had a very small 16 batch. 997.1's were 2007 and 2008. 997.2's were 2010 and 2011. Turbo's just roll off the lot on an ongoing basis.

Gt3RS were recently 1 year runs. 2016's and 2019's for .1 and .1 respectively.

They were too afraid to get into a turbo...

Another interesting data point would be how many of those were touring, and regular versions of the GT3 - I do think I have seen more Touring versions in Vancouver than anything else.
