Ceramic brake squeak 1280 mi. - normal?
 

I'm getting some ceramic brake squeaks when slowing to a stop at low speeds, now at 1280 miles. Is this normal?

I get "squeaks" at 1 mile.

A a few track sessions takes care of it in no time. Or a few hard stops from 75 mph. Preferably the former. Just for the psyche, if nothing else.

2250 on mine no squeaks thus far, thankfully. As previously suggested, perhaps some practice emergency stops would do the trick.

They might just be a little dirty ... try giving them a good rinse (when they are cold, of course). Usually cures it on my car.
