Default Turbo 2017 with options. Good deal?

I've been looking to upgrade my base 991 for a while and now I'm jumping to the other end of the spectrum either a turbo or turbo s. I came across this listing for an executive demo, which I know is not exactly a brand new car. What do you guys think about it? Equipped pretty much like a turbo S except for the extra HP.

No mileage listed. The discount doesn't seem inline with one year of depreciation on a Turbo. But, depends upon mileage.

Car has 98 miles on it. Never been registered so considered a new car.

It'll be titled as new and 98 miles is new. 7% off is fair not great, as a demo. New new it would be a nice discount. But this is s high msrp turbo for not an S. try to get another 3-5k off. They are still commanding good money and here you are getting CPo warranty plus new car remaining warranty. Not too shabby. Good luck

Better ask them if the warranty period was already punched. New doesn't mean necessarily the warranty begins at time YOU purchase.

This. If the warranty hasn't started not a bad deal, if it has I would ask for more off.

I can answer that having bought demos before. Warranty has already started but I have to imagine he may have lost only a month or two. You can ask them to throw in an extended or cpo warranty.

I spoke to the dealer. Warranty never punched. They are calling it a demo but it was never a demo, therefore the 98 miles. Really enticing but I'm not sure that I want a coupe.

It's an odd duck -- optioned like an "S", but not an "S". I got 5.5% off on a new Turbo that's now 6 months old -- dealer is offering you 6.6% off -- and it's nearly the end of the model year, and it's an odd duck. If you like all the options -- it's fine with perhaps another 2% discount.

I agree with philg3. My local dealer for a LOADED turbo for $205k and while sharp and done right, why not get an S.

The only reason not to get an S is that you have a decently optioned Turbo and you want to give it a Ruf treatment or something similar. In my opinion.

I wouldn't buy this car. I think it is too early to buy a 2017 Turbo (or too late depending on your vantage point).

Either get a 2018 (you can probably get one at a similar price if you shop around), or wait a couple of months and they will start offering serious discounts on 2017s.

Thanks for the great advice everyone. The only difference between this and s is that it doesn't have the 40 extra hp. I don't really care about that but I would definitely want to wait to see what happens when the 18s come out. I know there's a huge markup on these cars. Hoping I can get 10 percent off.

So I went there today to make a deal. When I told them my offer, the sales associate ran off to tell the manager not to waste his time on checking on my trade in. They acted like I offended them or something. btw the warranty was stamped in june of 2016! Car has been sitting there for a year. Just a bad weird experience. Then they tried to justify why I was unreasonable for making the offer. Felt like I was in a courtroom or something. Oh well. I'll keep looking.
