Default Anyone have pics of a White TT with clear tail lights?

Title.

Thinking of going with white on my TTS order and can't decide on the tails; leaning toward clear tails at the moment.

Thanks.

Here was a comparison on my 991.1:

Tinted looks great on the 991.2:

It would be interesting to see clear taillights with tint.

I've been thinking about tinting my clear tail lights. I think it might look really good.

Let me know how it goes. Suncoast sells precut tint film for the taillights in various shades.

I just ordered the film from Suncoast to tint my tail lights. I ordered the lightest tint that they offer.

I'll post some pics once I install it.

Please do post some pictures, I'd be interested to see how it turns out.

Here's a few extra shots of Jame's former 991.1 Turbo cab with clears.

The red bumper reflectors, the red center brake light, and the red tails all go together. It looks like borrowed parts from another car when introducing the clear tails. Tinting has possibilities if all the reds were done.

The thing that is crazy to me is when people with clear tail lights replace the red reflectors with painted pieces. I understand that it looks cleaner, but it removes all reflectors from the back of the car. I would be very nervous about parking a car like that on the street at night!

There are many degrees of opinion.

On a white car having all that bright red was like a pretty girl with to much lipstick applied IMO. Some folks may like that look, some... not so much.

Best option in early 2014 was subbing in factory clear tails and clear centre brake light.

I actually hadn't thought of tinting the reflectors. The tail light film is precut, but I had to order a seperate piece that I will cut to fit the center brake light. Perhaps there's enough to tint the reflectors too. The film is advertised as being "optically clear", so perhaps it wouldn't overly darken the reflectors.

This combo looks good too with doing the reflectors in body color.
