Upgraded to 2017 991.2 turbo s cab from 2014
Went from 2014 turbo s cab to 2017 turbo s cab. The major performance difference seems to be in sport plus mode. In my 2014 sport plus was pretty rough and not really suited for daily driving. It was basically sharply jolting around between first and second gear. In the 991.2 spurt plus is much smoother and every day drivable. I'm curious as to what they changed to make that difference if anyone knows.
Sorry for crappy pic but just got it and a new phone. PS: photos don't do the carmine red justice

I'm moving from a '14 Turbo Cab to a '17 Turbo S Cab and agree, Sport+ in my '14 was never suited to daily driving in auto-mode.

Congrats on the 2017 purchase! It looks great. I've seen that color in person before, and it's very nice.
I don't daily drive my 2014, but I agree with you on Sport Plus. I regularly drive in Sport mode, but almost never in Sport Plus, and when I do drive in Sport Plus, I manually operate the gear changes.

Yeah the new infotainment thing was a little overwhelming especially because I had the car delivered to my house so didn't get any instructions at the dealer.
I almost always have the top down so even with the burmeister it's hard to appreciate great sound with all that external noise. After all this time CDs still seem to sound better than anything Bluetooth.
