The 991 Turbo Picture Thread
After following the "991 GT3RS" and "991 GT3" picture threads very closely I realized that for some reason I had not subscribed to the 991 Turbo Picture Thread. After searching and searching I discovered that the reason I hadn't was because the thread did not yet exist. I'd like to start this thread up in hopes that it will be as successful as the others and bring many Turbo owners together. .1 Turbo 5 lugs were pretty sweet. Not a big fan of the .2 Turbo 5 lugs.
Would love to see some 20 inch HREs on a stock suspension Turbo. Don't want to monkey around with the suspension, but I'm interested in a more aggressive fitment. |

991.2 TTS, just installed Sharkwerks exhaust and OZ Racing Superforgiata wheels, lighter than stock wheels : 9x20 front ET 51mm / 12x20 rear ET 56mm, offsets are similar as stock, so I will later be able to run a 265/ 325 combo.

Some nice hanging plants for the front of her house. Got to play the good son at least one day a year, amirite?! The car looks far cleaner in pictures than it was... it rained on and off all day, and I picked back "farm" roads because, well, occasional twisties.

First Track day at Mt-Tremblant Quebec with the 991.2 TTS, was able to get up to 243 km/h (150 mph) on the back stretch, usually get to 225 with the '13 Viper GTS, and 218 with the E63S AMG. Amazing how this thing just flies out of corners !

My new / used 2017 Turbo S in Rhodium Silver. I traded in my 2009 997 Turbo mt with some regret as I loved that car. This is an entirely different animal. Total beast! In a good way! |

I'm running stock sizes. The Michelin 4S tires are a little "chubbier" than the Pirellis, which are very stretched out looking. |

My favorite shot from your uploads hands down. Nothing beats HRE quality. Some brands out there make you cringe any time you roll over a pot hole or speed bump - not with HRE Performance Wheels. Excellent choice. |
Your right. Sadly living in SoCal some roads in the LA area are VERY unforgiving. I have sadly hit a couple of pot holes or uneven parts of a freeway and thought that my fillings were gonna fall out. Scared the crap out of me. But the HRE show zero signs of wear or damage.

You'd be able to use the wheels for a couple thousand miles and then sell them for close to what you payed for. In addition to that, we run a trade-in program where you'd be able to use them as a credit towards the next set of wheels for your new car so you're never left stranded. |

Did not have a chance to do a photoshoot beyond few phone pics at dusk, so better pictures coming once it gets detail and ceramic coating. I love how the interior turned out (Graphite Blue with Pebble Gray stitching) - not clashing with Miami but nicely complementing it, lust like faded blue linen pants go well with blue ocean water :-). This car brings more summer to the crappy spring we have so far in PNW (except for skiing, which is pretty good).

My car with the TPC Racing 991 Turbo S, converted into the GT2RSx. We are in the paddock together at VIR. Kudos to Mike Levitas on this build, which has it's own thread. Randy Pobst also did some shakedown laps. Mike and Randy have both won the class at Daytona 24, so the talent matched the car. It's difficult to pick out which blue I would rather have. Either of those would look so good on something like an HRE P101 in Brushed Clear or Brushed Dark Clear. |

When I went to pick up my new to me 997.2 TTS a few days ago, this was at the dealer and had just been delivered. Pretty Sick, especially those Carbon Fiber Wheels
I heard this Exclusive Edition is 600+ HP and had an MSRP of $278K. They owner of the dealer collects and this was one of his. Gold in the carbon fiber interior trim!! Porsche Motorsport Control Arms, 2 - 2.5 degrees negative camber. BBS FI, Kline Inconel System with 100 cell HJS Headers. Cobb Accessport 650 ish HP. This car is absolutely amazing. I track the car regularly and only the instructors in GT3 RS's can keep up. And this is my daily driver. As a daily the GT3 would not do for a variety of reasons..... Turbo S more versatile....... better low end grunt from 2500 RPM......

I love that color. good choice, and good for you. I'm considering the opposite. I have a Turbo that I now only drive every other weekend or so, so would consider a GT3 for that. :)

Thanks very much...the interior has lots of special CXXX stuff and really makes the car. The 18 GT3 is a fantastic car and can exhibit lots of drama on weekend use.
I found myself with a Cayenne GTS for everyday and two weekend cars, so one had to go. I kept the 993 for that as my wife and I are reducing the number of cars we have down to 3 - a more versatile 911 for everyday, a reliable SUV and the 993 for weekend drama, etc... Good luck with a possible GT3 acquisition........ |

This haha. Plenty of HRE I love but after how our roads have opened up and swallowed every kind of wheel around me...kind of makes it no brainer to stick with my free replacements which I take advantage of almost yearly given how crappy our roads get after all the plows tear everything up. |

If they discover that there was a factory defect with the wheel then yes. If it was caused by driver error then no. But I know that you can purchase insurance on wheels that will cover this sort of accident :) |

My father picked this up last week, was a long time dream of his to own one. 2017 tts Jet black metallic with saddle interior with only 2k miles. He didn't love the look of the stock rims so the dealer suggested painting them black with a ring of yellow around outside edge. Was skeptical of what it would look like but he was very happen when we walked into the dealer to pick up the car. Personally I think it gives the car a more aggressive look

Not too loud, definitely a little more torque (200 cell cats), and the tone is super super smooth, with a little old school racer note. They did an easy and awesome install and were happy to change and customize whatever little things I wanted.
