How long does it typically take to get a car (in California) from the day the order is entered into the system, assuming fairly run-of-the-mill options?

My experience non PTS is 4-6 months from order to delivery.

~3 months from the date the order freezes to delivery of the vehicle to owner at the dealership.

Assuming no weather issues, and August doesn't happen in the middle of your production cycle.

PTS can take anywhere from 3-6 months longer (i.e., in addition to the normal production cycle timeline), and sometimes much longer.

I initially ordered in April and was given a delivery date in Oct. It was ultimately bumped to Dec. and was told it was due to the Exclusive options I had requested. I would image PTS would be similar since there are only specific times of the year where they will build PTS cars.
