Default Floor-mats with Deviated Stitching - OEM Alternative?

Hi Folks,

Need help / opinions........

I always buy a set of OEM carpeted floor-mats as a spare set for my cars.

Suncoast just quoted me $1260 plus tax for a set of Espresso floor-mats that have deviated stitching to match what my car came with.

Is there anyone out there that makes OE equivalent floor-mats to our cars? I am aware of Lloyds (worried about color match) and Coco mats (not my preference) but wondering what else is out there?

If the car had black or gray interior, things would be much easier but it is hard to match espresso.

Alternative is to order standard OEM espresso mats and use that set instead of what the car came with.

I would love to know what some of the others are doing especially with different interior colors.

Here is a pic of the mats / interior of the car.

Thanks in advance!

That’s a great looking interior. Personally, I’d buy the OE mats in Espresso rather than spending the money for the mats with deviated stitching. $1,260 is a bit crazy for floor mats that will eventually need to be replaced in the future. I’ve got the Espresso/Cognac interior with deviated stitching and deviated carpets (Espresso rather than the usual Cognac). My mats don’t have deviated stitching, and I don’t feel that it detracts from the interior look.

Another Espresso Brown interior here - I know you mentioned carpet mats but FWIW WeatherTech sells rubber mats for these cars and the Cocoa color is a dead match for Espresso Brown. Might be a nice addition to your carpet mats for foul weather at $135 for the pair.

Dennis C, so your carpet is cognac, correct? What color are your mats? Just picked up my GTS 4.0 with espresso-cognac, but the carpet is espresso. Had been looking at some custom mats that are brown with cognac stitching but am not sure about the clash between the brown and espresso? Thinking I might want to go with a cognac base mat for contrast.

My carpets are Espresso. I realized when I read this that I had accidentally reversed this when I typed my post above. The mats you found look really nice. Where did you find them?

My 997 Turbo had Sand Beige interior and I had brown mats in it for contrast. I thought it looked great.

I haven't actually purchased those mats yet - it is a design that was done up for me. Mats come from Exoticare www.exoticare.ca and Andrew Revai is the guy andrew@exoticare.ca.

Initially, I was thinking (maybe hoping) the carpet was going to be cognac and these mats would have provided a nice contrast much like your 997 Turbo. Currently, my GTS4.0 has the Porsche espresso carpet type mats - not bad but pretty plain.

Great looking horses (beasts) you guys have!
