Rennline Radiator Protection Grill Screens
Has anyone installed the protection grill screen on their 991.2 TTS? Will the dealer do this? Any idea how much it would cost? Thank you, Harry.

No idea. But I did discuss these screens with a Porsche engineer and he said they don't recommend it because it reduces airflow. He said they had considered the screens when designing the 991 turbo S but then decided they were a net negative.

I had them installed when I did my detectors/jammers..they need some adjustment to get them to fit but they did get them in..if I did again I'd have my installer custom make..nicer and cheaper..I prefer the mesh pattern sdg1871 has..Porsche put them on the Gt cars..therefore I'd question the statement that they they may be detrimental to the cooling
You can see the damage already sustained pre-grill install on the last image

My dealer installed these on my 991.1, so if they come out with a .2 version yours should be able to do it as well.
They're fantastic, their only downside is that debris collects between the grille and the radiator and it's a pita to get it out, in fact some of it stays in there forever.

Just ordered mine as part of Black Friday special. Estimates from dealers and local Motorsports shops vary from 2.5 - 4 hrs labor.
A bit more complicated due to active aero spoiler and disconnecting aux lights and wire harnesses. Actual install prob 1.5 hrs. Range of prices from 427-900 plus tax. Actual price depends on actual time imo. Had grill screens installed in my 07 GT3 few years ago.

I know I am in the wrong forum.
I was enjoying the Turbo forum as it's in the back of my mind!
I recently installed these on my 2016 GTS.
They charged $950 + Tax in NJ at a Porsche Dealer. They ordered all the parts.
I also am concerned about cleaning behind the grills.

Has anyone found these for 991.2 TTS yet? RennSport said "probably a year from now" and Zunsport.com has no ETA. (Zunsport is waiting for a donor car in England. Anybody in the UK??)

I would think any capable shop could whip these up once the cover is off..I looked at mine from Rennsport and they were simple sheet mesh cut to fit with a few fastners (screws) that actually didn't fit/work that well..
