Or for high flows cats go Europipe as I orginally did until I decided I wanted to slightly greater top end performance of catless:

I suppose there are exhaust options - but not quiet sure if any get the car to sound like the NA GTS.
Yes the sound of the gts is the only thing i regret about the swap. Exhaust are so scary if you dont get to try it out before u buy. I have bought them so many times on other cars to only never be happy.

The GTS has just such a amazing sound!!!

Just saying... I happen to think the sound of the turbo well fits the character of the car...

As can be seen by my earlier post, I am also swapping my 2015 GTS for TTS. Whilst I have placed the order (Jan build) the loss of the GTS soundtrack is still concerning me. I wouldn't add aftermarket exhausts and am resolved to enjoying the car as built. It wouldn't surprise me if they added a sports exhaust option in the next 12 months.

You say that now but you like most turn the owners you will end up adding an aftermarket exhaust. The standard exhaust is really lousy and makes the car sound like a leaf blower.

The GTS sounds incredible and I'm also worried quite a bit about it. Seems the only solution is an RS....

Regardless they'll have a full car upgrade in a few years anyway.

I have a TT incoming after a 997 GTS. The sound is also one of my only reservations. I heard reports that the sound of the 991.2 TT/S is approaching a 991.1 with a europipe - not the same, but getting there. Here's hoping for a pleasant surprise.

I was thinking I'd keep it stock until the new ones come out, then think seriously about swapping some parts (exhaust and intercoolers). Maybe look into tuning and swapping turbos too. The warranty will be out and it will make the car new and exciting all over again. Even in the worst worst case if I do all that, then suffer the first catastrophic failure and rebuild the thing - I might end up spending less than if I were to trade the car in on the next gen .1 TTS as soon as it comes out.

Funny I went the opposite way from a 14 TTS to a 17 manual c2s. Tried to find a gts but couldn't. I like it a lot it's way more engaging than the TTS was. I didn't like the sudden boost of the TTS, it goes from slow to super fast. It skips everything in between.

I like the linear boost of the c2s that combined with the manual makes it a fun car to drive.

That's what I thought too! I drove them back to back and was amazed how strong and smooth the delivery was on the C2S (it was PDK though). The TTS felt a little faster but didn't blow the C2S away. This was on the street so there wasn't full tilt driving involved, let's call it "spirited" or how I would actually drive it. TTS wins for bada$$ looks though - shows where my priorities are.

Went to the Atlanta PEC today and did the GT3 vs Turbo experience. It was..an experience. All these 911 models are completely different!

Went to dealership afterwards and placed an order for a Turbo S - cannot wait!! I love my GTS - but the turbo just blew me away

im wondering if the 17 TTS is a different feel from the 16? Can you talk about the power curve? I'm not sure if I can part with my GTS just yet. The sound is exhilarating.
