Default Thoughts anyone on this 2015 TTS cab...

I am looking a thinning the herd, dropping the Macan and possibly the Spyder, and getting back into perhaps a TTS cab for a DD. The Spyder as noted is an exceptional driver but just not so much daily. It's an evening / weekend take it out for a romp ride.

But for a DD I'm looking at this:

Thoughts anyone? Comments on "numb" steering? Would I miss the Spyder? (I suspect this may be the case ). Anyone made this move and regretted?

Thanks in advance...

I don't know the Canadian market, but my only thought on that particular car you linked is that it is outrageously overpriced.

I don't feel numb steering in my 991 TTS, if I didn't need the cargo space it would be the best DD ever.

I'd say it's the going price here...fairly well equipped and soulsea remember it's CDN $ shown which equates to about $163 USD..we pay a premium for these cars...much more than the US market for the same car..

Why not just buy a car from a US dealer? You won't have a KPH analog speedo but you can use the digital one, and the US warranty is valid in Canada so you're good there.

I guess it's only a $10k difference to US prices so maybe it's worth the convenience of buying locally.

It's just not a viable purchase with exchange / duty etc..unless you can get a smoking deal and we know these cars seldom come as such.. it's actually better for you guys to purchase our CDN cars !

At the moment it costs 1.30 candian to buy 1 US dollar... So along with a 6% duty when importing a Porsche into Canada along with transpo, broker fees (if u use one), RIV inspection, etc plus a "recall letter" that can be obtained at no charge if you make an effort to get it, otherwise Porsche charges $500 iirc, etc
It only works when our current nears par.
I got my Porsche when it was 1.0285 to 1 USD

Exactly. When the CND to USD was reversed from what it currently it is the import of US cars was epic. My first C2S was a US car and I had no issues with the warranty or service etc... Now CA cars are leaving to the USA. Such are finances. But this leaves us back to the problem at hand with Canadian car being priced at a premium.

Nice build. A little pricey.

I deal with Harris there. Good guy.

Curious; What did you find on this car? It still appears to be for sale on their lot.
