Default Rear wheel steering

I am under the impression that rear wheel steering has been standard on the turbos and Turbos S since model year 21014. I have recently been told that is not the case.

Can someone clarify when it is that rear wheel steering became standard or an option.

Thanks

Don

It has been standard during the entire production run of the 991 Turbo which includes 2014.

All 991.1+ Turbo(S) and GT3 have RWS as standard. Don't be fooled you have it.

Thanks guys I was fairly sure that the 991 turbo's all had rear axel steering but a Porsche salesman I am working with said otherwise, so I wanted clarification. He eventually agreed that they all had it. I put a deposit on a low miles, nicely equipped 2014 Turbo last night.

Thanks again for your help.

I have a Turbo 2014 and it's four wheel steering.

From time to time, I lower my side mirrors and do a hard turn while going very slowly, just to see my rear wheel coming out of the fender

I haven't figured out how to post pictures yet ( yeh I know I am giving away my age) but my new Turbo can be seen in my avatar. Love the car so far.. Will be at the track for two days next month.

Thanks for all your help.

Congrats, hope you get some good days in prior to winter setting in up there.

Where about are you located? I was born and raised in Boise.

Yes we have about 21/2 months until the snow starts. I live in the Sun Valley area at 5,500ft. Come late Oct I will put the 911 away for the winter. I won't drive it until the roads clear by late March. I could easily drive it year around, but i just choose not to.
But the offset is ....I get to ski every day!
