Default Painted Turbo S wheels

Well i took the plunge and painted the Stock wheel, side intakes and washer nozzles.... that with the tint finished this car. I normally don't like to black out the windows and black wheels however on this car it is just MEAN and WICKED. Very happy as that was the look i was going for.
Now if i could just find the proper exhaust and IF someone can come out with a PROPER tune that will enhance the crazy great job Porsche did on the .2
In the meantime, happy motoring

Looks perfect! Did you need to re-balance after painting the wheels?

I'm strongly considering having my wheels painted as well. Two questions:

1. How were your wheels prepped, and did they clear coat them as well? (I assume so)
2. If I may ask, about how much $ did this cost you.

My car arrives in November, and there really won't be any "silver/aluminum" color on the car but the faces of the wheels, thus why I'm considering this. Thanks.

I blacked out my wheels in high gloss and yes they put clear coat. I ended up paying $1000 for it. Thought it was reasonable considering time and labor. To OP car looks fantastic.

That looks really good. Price of only $1,000 - including labor? If that is standard pricing, this is a very reasonable price for a change in the look of the car. I really like it! Nice job. Tinting is dark -- are you legal on your tint levels?

Love it. Would like to see the same on the older model Turbo S wheel.

EDIT: Just realized the GTS wheels are that wheel in black.

Yes but matte black. I think gloss looks wayy better.

Nice! Is your car dropped at all or is that the stock suspension?

Are you asking me or the OP?

Mine is dropped on 30mm Techart springs, I believe Jeff's is at stock height.
