Maximum g forward? (grip, acceleration)
I'm messing around with some simulation programming.
Could somebody tell me what the maximum, momentary acceleration for a 991 turbo is? It's obviously more than 1 g. Curious what the maximum observed is at at what speed that was. If you have it handy it would be interesting to know what tires were on it.
It should be around 1.25g, but some internet places go as high as 1.53g.
Thanks.

This is probably not exactly the answer to your question... but, I've got a pic of my g-meter reading 1.18 for acceleration. That's with the stock P0s and not using launch control. I can't tell you exactly what I was doing that resulted in that reading but it was likely a roll-on acceleration that kicked-down to second.
I'm beginning to form the opinion that maximum acceleration without using launch control occurs in second (due to turbo lag.)
HTH.
