Default New 991.2 Turbo S with pics

Just got it a few days ago.I had a 2014 Turbo nonS before but a few things are noticeably different. The brakes are so much better than on the non S. I felt like I had to keep apologizing to the salesperson because my braking kept throwing us toward the windshield. I'm sure he had a bad case of whiplash. No brake dust on the wheels either after 250 miles. The steering wheel is a real upgrade over the 991.1 model. The controls are so easy to reach and use. The look is much cleaner in my opinion. Apple car play works really well but the PCM is very nice too. A lot of redundancy between the two systems but if you are an Apple addict the interface is just your familiar phone homepage. The touchscreen in the new model works flawlessly. One touch and the screen responds quickly but it isn't overly sensitive. The car came with axel lift which I didn't order ( I was offered this car when the original purchaser didn't take this car. It was very close to my car which is due May 30th so it was a no brain-er) but found to be quite useful. My car never drags now exiting my driveway. The acceleration on this car is amazing. This is the quickest car I have ever owned and I have had ZR1's, Z06's and multiple 911 Turbo's in the past. Multiple time on the freeway I have found myself doing well over 100 MPH without even noticing. I'm going to have a radar detector installed or else I'll end up in jail. The styling body changes are subtly but I'm not wild about the rear louvers. I'll learn to love them I'm sure.

Nice car, congrats. Like the wheels. What options? Yeah the PCCB are awesome like the no brake dust too.

Very nice! I just put down a deposit and ordered one last week. I suspect it may be in Q3 or so before I see it. At any rate, I can't wait to get it. I wish these things came with Michelin PSS tires... FWIW, I am moving up from a 2014 M5 which I love, but know this is in another league...

What is a reasonable discount on a new 991.2 Turbo Cab? Is 10% unreasonable?

Congrats! Looks sensational!! Not surprised to hear your feedback on the PCCB's either. All it takes is to own a car with them to realize just how superior they feel. Negative feedback generally stems from those without....much the same story with the S's additional power and other standard options which once owned are soon realized. Enjoy in good health!

OP,

What is the standard visor material? I have a 2017 TTS on order, and after reading other threads (on '16s), I see people complaining that visors look like a VW Bug, covered in a vinyl/plastic; is this the case? If so, I need to call my dealer to add alcantra visors to match the headliner... Thanks.
