Thinking about selling my '16 TTS Cab
Hi all,
Trying to get an idea of an asking price for my car. Don't recall all the specs but it has:
Jet black on black
Burmester
Yellow belts
Sport classic wheels in black
Other items resulting in a MSRP of $206k
~2500 miles
Ceramic pro coating
No paintwork/smoke
Also included in the sale will be Klein headers and 100cell cats/70mm exhaust and Cobb tune.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!

So when I walked in and tried to trade my 14 TTS Cab in 6 months after I bought it, the trade in value was about 20% off MSRP. So depending on your discount upfront...

I bet the dealer will give you $150 and you could sell it for maybe $160

Thanks all! Am considering selling because I have too much $ tied up in cars. Just bought a 991 GT3 and so was just thinking about freeing up some cash. The TTS is awesome but the GT3 is more awesome but in a different way.

Good luck. Would love to hear if we are close in actual price. News sucks as our TT(S) just take a beating the second you drive off the lot.

Didn't you save the window sticker? I still have the window sticker from my 1969 Pontiac GTO (somewhere).
Figure 20-30%, depending on the market and how fast you want to sell. I lost close to 30% when I traded my '15 TT on an S550, but I had no interest in trying to verify anyone actually had $140-150K to spend on a used car. I was more than happy to have the dealer pick it up and rely on his expertise in reselling it. That had real value for me.
Whenever I buy a new Porsche, I assume I just threw away at least 25% of purchase price and haven't been disappointed yet.

So on 6speed a guy just traded in a 15, same miles and a $200k sticker for $150K. You may get $155K.
Cheers.

Thats the problem with Turbos the hit is pretty huge..i'm past the point of trading it in, its worth more to me than the dealer so I'm keeping mine.
Honestly the economic decision to free up cash is to sell the GT3, that you can get out whole.
As a daily I wouldn't drive a GT3 anyway..the Turbo Cab is sooooo easy to drive day to day.

You can use this URL to generate the build sheet for your TT:
https://admin.porschedealer.com/repo...CB2A91DS156137
Replace the VIN string at the end of the URL with yours.
