MY SLIPSTREAM 1/2 MILE RESULTS AND PICS!!!
Last weekend I attended slipstream's half-mile invitational event at mid State airport in Phillipsburg Pennsylvania. About 50 other people attended. The event could've sold 300 but was kept small as this was the first try of the event at the airport. There will be a much bigger event in July by slipstream at the airport.
I took my son Victor and together we weigh about 420 pounds. I didn't take any weight out of the car as I figured given that there wasn't much point. Set forth below is an image provided to me by slipstream of the data from all of my runs. I was Car 183. Best trap was 161.4. Best quarter mile ET was 10.5. Also here are some fun pictures from the event of my car:

Thanks. I am not sure what you mean in terms of the red GTR. The people in the car show at lots of meets And The car is Ivey tuned and very powerful. Unfortunately it broke down fairly early in the day and was spewing white smoke towards the end of the runway. It needed to be towed back to its tuner.

Why is it wrong to mention it? Last time I checked this a free forum and as long as you respect people you can say whatever you want.
When I was in London all the supercars wrapped in some silly way/color or with fugly rims where always from some Arab guys.
When I went in the U.S the same happened but it was Asians doing it. Actually it's worse because they add scoops and cheap plastic parts all over the place. Oh and the car must be stick otherwise they can't drive it properly even if they are known to be lousy drivers. And this was told by a dear friend of mine which happens to be Korean American.
Stereotypes are not apliable to 100% of a determined population but still they can be applied sometimes and if you ask me it's good that they exist. It's the most beautiful thing that we are all different. We are not a series production vehicle, we are priceless in our own way.
So Asians in a pimped up Nissan or hillbillies in a 5.0L 75hp truck are funny and needed in this world.

I have to say that you are definitely getting your money's worth out of your car. Kudos. No garage queen there. My 1300 whp GT-R broke something minor the second day of TX2K roll race but we couldn't fix it track side and I was out. I saw you and KAW beating on your cars all weekend and it was then I decided it was time to slow down a bit and get a more reliable 991 TTS.

At the very least these little measuring contest can help Shake Down a modified car. A lá the car that broke it's shaft. But I always see diminishing returns on cars that start to go over 50% of it's original factory BHP rating. And one end's up building a whole new car sans the body and interior.
And speaking of fugly, wasn't it some arab dude who eventually bought David Beckham's Porsche? Talking about fugly.
